What if we slowly lose our health not because we get older, but rather because we do not know the true causes and solutions to our health problems.

Most people assume illnesses are normal at certain ages of life.  Because illness is so common it does not make it normal.

It is  a fact that our health care system in the United States is in trouble.  The health care of this land is failing miserably, if not contributing to the illness of our well-being.  We need to take back responsibilities of our own health and choose natural health.

Heart Disease

Is the leading cause of death in the United States.  According to the American Heart Association, about every 29 seconds, someone in the U.S. suffers from a heart related event, about every minute someone dies from one.  The risk of having a heart related event after age 40 is 49% for men, and 32% for women.

Breast Cancer:

Every 2 minutes a women in the United States is diagnoses with breast cancer.  More than 80% of breast cancer cases occur in women over 40.  The risk of breast cancer is clearly related to hormonal influences.  Some studies report obesity as a risk factor for breast cancer.  Some studies have pointed to estrogen-like chemicals found in pesticides, plastics, and other industrial products as a possible reason for the increased risk of contracting breast cancer.

Type 2 diabetes is much more common than Type 1 diabetes and makes up 90% or more of the cases of diabetes.  It usually occurs in adulthood, and results when the pancreas does not make enough glucose to keep the blood levels normal, often because of bad dietary habits and stress.  Many people with Type 2 diabetes do not even know they have it, although it's a serious condition.  Maintaining a ideal body weight and active lifestyle may prevent the onset of Type 2 diabetes.

Is the most common type of bone disease.  There is currently an estimated 10 million Americans suffering from osteoporosis, and another 18 million Americans that have low bone mass, or osteopenia.  It is estimated that 20% American women over the age of 50 have osteoporosis, and an additional 30% have osteopenia.  If osteopenia is not treated the bone mass may deteriorate to osteoporosis
